FAMAS used to be that cheaper alternative for players on a tight budget, offering that sweet spot between costlier rifles and slightly weaker SMGs. Its design is truly a reflection of its namesake, inspired by the ever-popular de_nuke map in Counter-Strike 1.6, a conceptual nuclear power plant named Cedar Creek.
The FAMAS | Decommissioned skin was designed by a community artist going by the name "Kai" and was added to CS2 on October 18th, 2019, in the Case update CS20. Its slick yet battle-worn design made it an instant hit with the players and one of the most desirable skins within the game. However, because of its loss of use and appeal, FAMAS | Decommissioned was finally decommissioned from CS2 and thus retired its service in the virtual battlefield.
FAMAS | Decommissioned was driven into CS2O because of the CS20 Case update. For this skin to be possessed by a player, he has to open CS20 Case containers and is also listed in the CS20 Collection.
The top is FAMAS | Decommissioned with an enormous popularity rating of 85%, holding its position in the top 15% most wanted in CS2. It counts the fact that this skin has very high sales volume every day, and the price would be relatively higher compared to the vast majority.
FAMAS | Decommissioned is one among 255 rifle skins in CS2, thus making this skin a pretty usual drop. Since this rifle skin has a Mil-Spec Grade of rarity, its drop chance is approximately 79.92%, further implicating how often this skin comes into gameplay.
The FAMAS | Decommissioned is an extremely cheap skin, ranging in price from only $0.06 to $1.77. Due to its wide presence in many markets, it is very available and highly popular among the player base-which brings ownership over 1 million units in public CS2 inventories.
The float value of the FAMAS | Decommissioned in CS2 ranges from 0.00 to 1.00, so the skin is available in all possible exteriors, thus being highly varied in wear and tear. Furthermore, for the collectors who love keeping track of their kills, there is also a version of StatTrak available for the Decommissioned in each exterior.
The FAMAS | Decommissioned earned a great reputation among the CS2 community, having over 989 votes on addskins.gg and an astronomical average vote of 4.8 out of 5 stars. Its popularity is sustained by owners such as famous professional players s1mple, niko, and spunj, but its in-game desirability is by no means smaller.
This is a "Custom Paint Job" style skin, which can be very differently colored, but this particular version of the FAMAS | Decommissioned in CS2 has lots of gray on its skin, making this skin really different and worn-out. The Decommissioned finish is unaffected by pattern indexes, pattern indexes are ignored.
Each skin has a minimum and maximum wear value, that's what we call a wear range. The line shows the available wear range for this skin.
