FAMAS used to be that cheaper alternative for players on a tight budget, offering that sweet spot between costlier rifles and slightly weaker SMGs. Its design is truly a reflection of its namesake, inspired by the ever-popular de_nuke map in Counter-Strike 1.6, a conceptual nuclear power plant named Cedar Creek.
