The G3SG1 | VariCamo is an expensive sniper rifle in CS2. In return for the high price, it gives up some mobility for a higher firing rate than similar guns. The hydrographic VariCamo pattern adds a touch of camouflage to the gun, reminding one that in rebuilding often follows destruction in this game.
The G3SG1 | VariCamo first appeared in professional CS2 on November 27th, 2013, when it was released as part of the EMS One 2014 Souvenir Package. For quite a long time, this update really did change the way people view new weapon skins and gave them a great way to express themselves on the battlefield.
The G3SG1 | VariCamo was only made available as a possible reward for those opening a container from either a DreamHack 2013 Souvenir Package or EMS One 2014 Souvenir Package, which makes this particular skin all the more exclusive to actually obtain. Other than that, it came with The Safehouse Collection, which opened up further access to players who wanted another way of obtaining the skin.
