The M249 | Aztec is a fearsome automatic light machine gun, good for open areas. It has great accuracy and a lot of ammunition instead of the speed of fire. With rusted components and moss on its exterior, this reminds one that it came from ancient Aztec ruins, warning against relying on precarious rope bridges.
The M249 | Aztec was added to CS2 on October 18th, 2019, with the CS20 Case update. The detailed artwork of this skin, designed by the exceptional community designer "Sparkwire," brought elements of ancient Aztec artistry into the battlefield and gave the gun one of the most battle-scarred appearances that wowed the community.
The Aztec M249 has an extremely rare skin, the container CS20 Case, which will allow players to have a very unique and graphically appealing design. It belongs to the CS20 Collection.
M249 | Aztec belongs to the most popular skins within CS2, among 85% popularity. This is the top 15%, considering the popularity of all CS2 items, measured in terms of daily volume sold and market price.
The M249 | Aztec belongs to the pool of 43 other Machinegun skins, making it a pretty rare skin to stumble upon in CS2. It has a Restricted rarity and an approximate drop chance of 15.98%, which further adds to the rarity and, therefore, desirability of this skin among collectors.
The float value for the M249 | Aztec in CS2 ranges from 0.00 to 0.75, so the skin would be available in all finishes, ensuring a wide variety of wear levels. For each exterior, there is also a StatTrak available for the Aztec skin, enabling tracking of kills with this unique design.
The community sentiment received by M249 | Aztec is good, as it received more than 3.7K votes with an average rating of 4.4 out of 5 stars over addskins.gg. This skin is also famous among pro CS: GO players such as k0nfig, pimp, and daps, who proudly own this skin.
This M249 has been cosmetically treated with an Aztec finish; it looks like a patina formed over years. The skin has an intriguing green tint to it, adding some flair to the weapon. The pattern indexes have no bearing on the Aztec finish whatsoever.
Each skin has a minimum and maximum wear value, that's what we call a wear range. The line shows the available wear range for this skin.
