The MP7 | Prey is a very adaptable submachine gun that is manufactured in Germany for high-intensity close-quarters combat. This gun's surface has been carefully spray-painted in striking zebra stripes of rust, representing an unrelenting spirit of perseverance and hunt.
The MP7 | Prey was released to the CS2 community on September 21st, 2021. This predatory-themed skin, with its design contrastingly appealing, made it very much catch the attention of the gaming community in CS2. This skin was only available by opening the Rio 2022 Dust II Souvenir Package, which came out alongside the highly anticipated "Operation Riptide" update, which added an exciting new layer of gameplay to CS2.
MP7 | Prey belongs to the rare class and is obtained by opening containers created via Antwerp 2022 Dust II Souvenir Package, Rio 2022 Dust II Souvenir Package, or Stockholm 2021 Dust II Souvenir Package. The skin is included in The 2021 Dust 2 Collection, making it even more exclusive and desired among players.
The MP7 | Prey is one of the most wanted CS2 skins, having an incredible popularity rating of 75%. For this reason, it enters into the select top 25% of the rarest in-game items, which it reached due to its huge sales volume and formidable price.
Being one of 237 other skins for this SMG class of gun, the MP7 | Prey maintains a moderately sized pool that players can choose from. At Consumer Grade rarity, Prey is actually somewhat common to stumble upon in-game and is therefore more accessible to a player interested in flair for their loadout.
MP7 | Prey is an economically friendly skin, the cheapest has a minimal price of $0.01 and can reach as high as $0.32, which makes this skin highly approachable for a budget player. It's pretty easy to get your hands on through the markets and allows the player to rapidly and straightforwardly fill out their CS2 inventories with the skin in question. There are about 1.5 million units that circulate through public inventories at the moment.
The MP7 | Prey in CS2 is obtainable in all skins, while its float values range from 0.00 to 0.48. That's a great difference for collectors who want basically any wear level possible. Each skin also has a Souvenir Prey version, adding another layer of rarity and desirability to the most dedicated players.
MP7 | Prey went viral in the CS2 community, gathering over 2K votes on addsikns.com and receiving an average rating of 4.8 out of 5 stars. This is also one of the favorites among professionals like fnx, taz, and get_right because this is their gun skin in some matches.
The MP7 here features a Spray-Paint style finish with the Prey design. The gun has several layers of spray paint, with the application of each done in a stencil pattern to achieve a really interesting visual. Shaded predominantly into gray tones, the overall look of the Prey finish is determined by the pattern index for the skin, making for a highly unique look and one that is very dynamic.
Each skin has a minimum and maximum wear value, that's what we call a wear range. The line shows the available wear range for this skin.
