The USP-S | Flashback is a nostalgic throwback to the beloved Counter-Strike Source era, featuring a detachable silencer that reduces recoil and minimizes noise. The hand-painted design of this skin is supposed to provoke a reflection over the complex nature of human duality, leaving a lasting impression.
The USP-S | Flashback first appeared in CS2 on December 6th, 2018, having been added with the Danger Zone Case during the "Welcome to the Danger Zone" update. This eye-catching skin is a creation of the artistic community designer going by the name "Superior Weapons," who added a sense of retro flair to the classic USP-S pistol.
USP-S | Flashback is a commemorative skin in CS2 and has been used in tribute to an extremely skilled CT operative referred to as Agent Flashback, whose miracles involved stealth and precision. This skin could only be attained by opening the Danger Zone Case, seeing it is in a very limited set of the Danger Zone Collection of skins showing various pieces of kit utilized by advanced counter-terrorist forces around the globe.
Currently, USP-S | Flashback enjoys extreme popularity in CS2, holding an astonishing 95% rate of popularity. As a very high-demand skin and very costly one, USP-S | Flashback remains at the pinnacle of demand and sale in-game, as evident from its day-to-day volume of sales and steadily growing price graph.
The USP-S | Flashback is one of 347 other pistol skins, which makes it relatively rare to get in CS2. Coming in with a rarity classification of Restricted, Flashback has a mediocre drop chance of about 15.98%, furthering its rarity for collectors.
The USP-S | Flashback is a rather cheap skin, with prices starting from $0.37 and going up to $2.23, which makes it well within reach for most players. Its popularity can be easily seen in how widespread it is across markets, with about 1.7 million units in public CS2 inventories.
The USP-S | Flashback is available in all exteriors, ranging from 0.00 to 0.50 float value; this means that collectors and players will get a wide variety in wear levels. StatTrak versions of the Flashback are also available for each exterior, to let users track their kills with style.
The USP-S | Flashback has been highly praised in the CS2 community, with an overwhelming majority of the voters on addskins.gg giving it a near-perfect rating of 4.9 out of 5 stars. Further, its popularity is confirmed by the fact that this skin was used by professional players such as fnx and adren, which makes this skin one of the most popular ones.
This is a skin of USP-S | Flashback in CS2, the "Custom Paint Job" style with a bright Flashback finish, meaning that there can be a lot of personalized aesthetics in many vivid hues.
